From The Good Folks At Stinkers Truckstop in Silverlake~
If you are a fan of all things Burt Reynolds, Trans Am and Peterbilt, you can dry your tears. We’re auctioning off the bar’s ’70s-themed decor (along with its lovable skunks-drinking-Schlitz-beer dioramas) on Feb. 9th. This includes a replica of the hood of the Pontiac Trans Am from “Smokey and the Bandit,” loads of Burt Reynolds posters and a life-size cutout of the man, the smoking skunk butts, plenty of 1970s movie posters and the cologne machine from the bathroom.
A portion of the night’s proceeds will benefit the Santé D’Or Foundation, a local animal rescue and adoption agency.
