Los Angeles
It’s official! The first Cinespia Cemetery Screening is going to be Billy Widler’s Ace In The Whole starring Kirk Douglas, Jan Sterling and Robert Arthur. And Saturday May 31st will be Blake Edwards The Party starring Peter Sellers and Claudine Longet.
Please take note on a few things from a seasoned CCS attendee. Arrive early! The diehard fans begin to line up around six o’clock. While that might sound like a drag, you can bring a picnic and sit on the grass in line and relax and catch up with your friends before heading in. This will also allow you to find free street parking close by. If you arrive at the last minute, you may not find street parking and the lot may be full. It has happened and friends have had to go home. Also be sure to bring warm clothes as it gets frigid in the cemetery after the sun goes down. See you there!
Gates at 7:30 pm.
Film at 9:00pm.
Admission $10
Parking $5

What a screen legend. Kirk Douglas a man of many talents. I have to say that although I enjoyed him in most films like “The Vikings” with Tony Curtis and Uluyses – it was his role of Sparticus starring alongside Jean Simmons that proved that he was one of Hollywood`s all time greats.
